Measure wear accurately

With the chain wear indicator from Connex, you can see at a glance if the chain needs to be replaced or is still good for further use. The long sides of the tool ensure extremely accurate results.

To use, just simply position the chain wear indicator on the chain so that the hook on the left drops into a gap between two rollers. Then place the right side of the indicator on top of the chain.

• If the hook on the right slides into a space between the rollers with the wear indicator not lying flat on the chain, the chain is still good for use.
• If the hook on the right-side slides into a space between the rollers with the wear indicator lying flat on the chain, it is time for a new Connex chain.
