Double Six Single Speed Converter

This kit converts a regular HG type multi-gear hub to run as a Single Speed.

The Double Six single speed kit is our premium level kit featuring a 7mm wide spline base Shimano HG type spline fit sprocket to ensure power transfer doesn’t score or destroy alloy freehub bodies. The lightweight alloy tapered spacers are designed to offer increased lateral support for the sprocket under load.

Notes:

Sprocket teeth will fit narrow 9 speed chain.

(We recommend fitting a new chain, as a pre-used chain will likely be worn, and may not mesh well with the fresh cut sprocket.)

Recommended for use with 3/32" chain such as Gusset MX 3/32 chain

(Wider, 1/8" Single Speed chains can also be successfully used)

Shimano HG type freehub spline compatible

Designed to fit MTB width HG freehub types.

(an additional 1.8mm spacer is required to fit with 11S Road type freehubs.) 

Supplied with 16T sprocket as standard.

(12/13/14/15/17/18/19t sprockets are available separately.)

Specification:

• 16t CNC Chromo 5/64’’ wide base HG type sprocket.
• 2x CNC alloy spacers with laser etching
• Steel Lock ring (HG Type tool required)
