Wicker D-Shaped Bicycle Basket

Add a touch of style to your bike with a classic D-shape wicker basket.

They are made from full-cane natural wicker and are perfect for carrying your essential items as you travel. The tight hand-woven structure prevents smaller items from dropping through large holes which can occur with some wire-type basket designs.

These types of baskets are recommended to be attached to the handlebars using 2 leather straps together with a Basket Support (or alternatively a front carrier rack) to take the weight of items being carried.

Note: If Wicker baskets are used without a suitable support, the basket will be prone to damage from weight being carried pulling on the straps, and so the usable life of the basket will be significantly shortened.

‘Basket supports’ are typically fitted to the front wheel axle using axle nuts. 

These are generally not compatible with high-end QR and Thru-type hub axle systems.
